Medical treatment guide
Records to bring to your follow-up visit
Write down the medication, weight, food intake and discomfort, and bring it to the doctor when you return for a follow-up visit.
In addition to seeing how much weight you have lost, the follow-up visit will also tell you whether you are eating well, whether you have strength, and how you feel after taking medication.
Write down actual medication usage
Bring a photo of the medicine bag or box and note each dose, the actual day of injection, and any missed doses or discontinued doses. Please also inform your doctor about other recently added medicines and health care products.
Look at the weight changes in recent weeks
Try to use the same scale, measure at similar times and wearing similar clothes, and maintain similar measurement methods for waist circumference. Don’t be nervous just because one day is heavier. If weighing yourself is stressful for you, you can also discuss a more appropriate tracking frequency.
Can you eat it? Has your life been affected?
Simply record what you ate, drank, and did your activities for a day or two. Also pay attention to whether you feel tired easily recently, have difficulty lifting things, or eat too little which affects your work. There is no need to prepare a "perfect record" for return visits, the real situation is most helpful.
Note when symptoms started and how long they lasted
For example, how many days did you feel nauseated after the injection, how long did you have constipation, how many times did you vomit in a day, whether you could drink water, and whether it affected your sleep. People who need to track their blood sugar or blood pressure should follow their doctor’s instructions and bring records. Not everyone needs to take extra measurements.
Choose one to three questions you want to ask the most.
For example: "Is it enough to eat so little now?" "What should I do if my constipation has not improved?" "What arrangements will be made when we are close to the goal?" Let's talk about the problem that bothers you the most first. It will be easier for the doctor to grasp what needs to be dealt with.
Before returning to the clinic, have you made sure you have brought it with you?
Check the prepared items. Checking the box will only be used on the current page and will not be sent to the clinic or store health information.
Use your mobile phone to simply write down: injection records, weight changes, eating and bowel movements, and the questions you most want to ask this time.
